Paula Lara

MY DEFINITION AS A CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR

My name is Paula Lara Domínguez. I have been a graduate translator at the Alfonso X el Sabio University since 2004, and I have also held a Master’s degree in creative and humanistic translation from the University of Valencia since 2009. I am also a member of the Henares Business Association, where I actively participate in its meetings.

With more than 14 years in the professional field of translation, I have participated in hundreds of projects for public bodies and companies from different sectors, translating various legal and economic documents such as contracts, agreements, commercial papers, etc. As well as literary works, essays, and guides, among others.

The long-standing relationship I have with my clients is one of the key features of my career. Companies or individuals emphasise that I am different, someone tremendously human and that I manage to make magic.

Respect is a significant value for me. I can remember the faces of all the students I have helped achieve their goals (whether it was passing a subject or an official exam, or a promotion or a requirement from their company).

And when they achieve it, I feel as proud as they are, if not prouder. I have a gift for words, and I put it at your disposal – put me to work!
